So, we decided to take advantage of the summer and safely explore the outdoors. We're still in Stage 1 of the Covid-19 quarantine, but most establishments are open and functioning with limited operations. Six Flags Wild Safari in Jackson, NJ opened their doors in May 2020 and are allowing guests to travel through 350 acres of wild safari. Due to Covid safety restrictions, guests must reserve tickets online prior to arrival. The tickets are decently priced at $19.99 Monday thru Thursday and $24.99 Friday thru Sunday. If interested, please visit their website to get a full list of all restrictions. For reference, all visitors are confined to their vehicles and must keep their windows rolled up at all times. This was my family's first time visiting a safari and we had a blast! We packed lunches, made sure our cameras were fully charged and made an afternoon of it. The tour through the wild took about 2 1/2 hours but we were too busy to notice with all of the exotic creatures roaming around. If you're like me and quarantine is life but would like some fresh, safe air, you may want to jump on the NJ Turnpike and head towards Exit 7A!
