This quarantine has exposed so many things... one being my baking abilities. I've always been a fan of cooking but the most I've thrown in the oven was some baked chicken. Furthermore, baking powder and Springform pans DID NOT live in my cabinets. During the 2020 pandemic, also known as COVID-19, I decided to bake my kiddo's birthday cake while in quarantine. Little did I know, the cake would turn out wonderfully and my desire to create tasty treats would intensify. It was at this time, Baking at the ROasis was conceived.
